Participants: Who should be involved in the planned process?

• It is recommended to think creatively and see the potential of people and organizations which have not been l your municipality´s habitual partners or target groups so far. For example, if you are planning an e-participation project for the planning of the city center area, do not engage only architects and planners, but also the students of an art school etc. to get fresh and innovative views.

• It is clear that somebody should take the lead and responsibility for the whole process. It may be the department whose responsibility is the topic related to this particular e-engagement process, a special work group formed for this e-engagement process or the department of public relations or communication.

However, it is recommended to consult the communication department or specialist during the whole e-engagement process.
